Application | 4-amino-N-ethyl-N-(beta-methanesulfonamide ethyl) m-toluidine sulfate, trade name CD-3, Is a color developer and an important photographic chemical. 4-Amino-N-ethyl-N-(beta-methanesulfonamide ethyl) m-toluidine sulfate is used for the development of oil-soluble color reverse film and color photo paper. |
preparation | 1, reagents and instrument compounds (1)(self-made);85% hydrazine hydrate (AR, Shanghai chemical reagent procurement and supply station); Ferric chloride hexahydrate, powdered activated carbon, anhydrous ethanol, 98% sulfuric acid (all made in China, AR),Raney-Ni (self-made). The melting point is determined by WRS-1 digital melting point meter, the ash content is determined by muffle furnace, and the heavy metal content is determined by chemical titration. 2. In the experimental part, 250ml of absolute ethanol is added to a four-mouth bottle with stirring, reflux and heating devices, ferric chloride hexahydrate and activated carbon are added (activated carbon is baked at 120 ℃ for 5 hours, sealed and stored), compound (1) is added under stirring, 85% hydrazine hydrate is added dropwise, and the reaction temperature is controlled at 30~65 ℃ for about 1 hour. Continue stirring for 2~4 hours until the reaction is completed. Filter to remove activated carbon, filtrate and 10g of 80% sulfuric acid at about 40 ℃, stir and cool, filter to remove precipitate, and obtain ethanol solution of compound (2). The above mother liquor is added with sulfuric acid to form salt, cooled in an ice bath, filtered to obtain crude product, the crude product is recrystallized in ethanol, and cooled and filtered to obtain white crystal CD-3. Drying, testing performance. After refining, CD-3 is obtained with 0.01% ash content, melting point 129~130 ℃ and 99.7% content. |
